Private Fly Fishing Lessons
- Advanced booking is mandatory
- Two anglers per instructor
- Includes lunch, drinks and transportation
- Single-Day Instruction: Gives you the foundation to get started or moves you on to the next level of your fly fishing expertise
- Two-Day Instruction: Offers a more complete approach to refine your skills and learn more advanced fly fishing techniques
- Third-Day Float Trip: Enjoy fishing from the perspective of a drift boat and put your new skills to the test on the Madison River
Free Fly Fishing 101
- Advanced booking is recommended
- Lessons are offered free of charge
- Please give advanced notice of large parties
- Lessons at The Tackle Shop begin at 10 a.m. and last 1.5 hours
- Takes place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday
- Orvis Endorsed guides will teach you the basics of fly casting, including basic fly selection and knot tying
- If you are unable to attend one of the designated lessons, a private course for your group may be scheduled free of charge
